Gabriella Marina Gonzalez

Having completed her first fashion show at only 17, Garbiela Marina Gonzalez has strong sense of direction for her latest collection. ‘Clothing for the Emotionally Dispossessed’ is designed for ‘a girl who is beautiful yet this is not her priority’. This influence can be seen in her towering, faux croc-leather platforms which, at seven inches high, are for only the more fearless of girls. Hand knit mo-hair, horse-hair, beading and linen finish off the rest of the collection, softening it’s blunt edges.

Aside of working on her collection, illustrations and collaborating in performance art with Paul Joyce, Gabi has also managed to squeeze in time to bring hairy bag creations to life for the Charlie Le Mindu Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
