Carri Mundane’s dream of reinventing Barbie’s Ken, was helped made into a reality with Charlie in charge of hair. The fake Ken Doll look was a perfect project to work on, as Charlie promotes and props up the outrageously fake and bold so so much! A hot pick of ours from the collection were the models painted head-to-toe in a lustrous gold paint. Really en-capturing that ‘fake Ken gym body’ look, a real nod towards Ken.
The collection was a throwback to the late 80s/early 90s graffiti. with lots of leather, metallic fabrics and quilting. Alongside this, shapes were accentuated with a bright and bold colour palette that made use of hot pinks, electric blues and black.
